The third chakra is the solar plexus chakra. It is located on the abdomen and back. It handles all the organs related to digestion. The related gland is the pancreas.

It corresponds to the Ego of the animal, so its balance is essential to be in harmony with oneself and the world.

Territoriality is the characteristic of this chakra. The ‘invasion of its territory can correspond to an attack on its ego that can trigger a strong emotion, and thus an instinctive response.
Its demon is shame.

Animals, in common with all other living things, have a chakra system. This system is a complex network of spinning, vortexes of energy that run throughout the body. Universal Energy (Prana, Chi, Ki) flows in and out of the chakras, along the meridian system, into the aura and finally into the physical body. Energy flows both ways; inside and outside. Therefore, every thought, action and emotion affects the chakras and is reflected in the aura. Likewise, external stimuli, both positive and negative, have an effect on the chakras and leave their physical mark on the aura (including discomfort). This is the same for animals and humans.

Anything, or influence, that causes a blockage or interruption of the energy flow of one or more chakras can lead to the onset of discomfort.
